 | QuickBooks® – Basic
This full-day workshop covers all the basics. You will learn how to
install QuickBooks® on your computer, how to set up your company inside
the program, how to invoice a customer, receive payments, track
receivables, enter and pay vendor bills, receive and track inventory,
enter credit card transactions, reconcile and prepare financial
statements, and backup your data.

QuickBooks® – Advanced
This full-day workshop discusses thirty-two advanced topics not covered in
the Basic QuickBooks® workshop. These topics include how to track job
expenses and prepare job profitability reports, use purchase orders and
estimates, customize forms and reports, prepare 1099’s, enter other
transactions like returned checks, bad debts, and petty cash, tips and
tricks for faster data entry, and much more.

Introduction to California Sales and Use Taxes
This two-hour workshop provides a basic understanding of Sales Tax issues
that you need to operate a business in California. Topics include the
difference between sales and use tax, who must have a sellers permit, how
to obtain a sellers permit, what sales are subject to sales tax, and the
four most common (and expensive) mistakes you need to avoid.
