What do I need to be ready for my first appointment?
You will need to have a computer, a copy of QuickBooks® or Peachtree® (either installed or still in the box), and your accounting records (which would include bank statements, credit card statements, copies of your deposits, vendor bills, etc).

Will you come to my business, or do I have to come to your office?
We prefer to meet with you in your office. That is where your computer is, and that is where your records are located.

How long will it take you to setup my QuickBooks® or Peachtree®?
The average time for a simple small business is about two hours, and that includes a little training on how to use your new accounting program. However, every business is different, and it can take anywhere from one hour to a couple of days to setup your books, depending on how complicated your business is and how much you are willing to do with our instruction.

Which program is better, QuickBooks® or Peachtree®?

bulletQuickBooks® and Peachtree® are two of the least expensive accounting packages on the market today.
 
bulletQuickBooks® is easier to use for non-accounting people, but many accountants prefer Peachtree®.
 
bulletQuickBooks® is the most popular accounting package on the market today. So there are lots of people who know how to use it and can help you with it. However, if you’re already using Peachtree®, it may not be worthwhile to convert.

How often should I upgrade my QuickBooks® or Peachtree® to the latest version?
We believe in the “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” philosophy. So, if a new version of QuickBooks® or Peachtree® becomes available that has a new feature you think will help you manage your business better, or that fixes a problem you’ve been experiencing, then upgrading is a good idea. Otherwise, don’t.

Will upgrading my QuickBooks
® or Peachtree® to a newer version mess up my data in any way?
We have never experienced a data problem upgrading clients to new versions of QuickBooks® or Peachtree®.
